Based in North Holland in the Netherlands, Less Grey is a VAT specialist organization that advises and supports businesses in fulfilling their VAT rights and obligations in Europe. We offer VAT advisory services, VAT compliance services and VAT refund services.
We have the knowledge and experience to answer all VAT-related questions relating to the Netherlands and other European countries. We also assist in the preparation and filing of VAT returns in the Netherlands and other European countries, and act as General Tax Representative for foreign entrepreneurs.
In the Netherlands, Less Grey is one of the largest intermediaries for the IOSS (Import One Stop Shop) scheme. And for reclaiming VAT, Less Grey has a very good 'track record' for both reclaiming foreign VAT via refund requests and identifying and reporting domestic VAT on expenses incurred by staff.
From Alkmaar to Heerhugowaard
The new office better suits the current staffing and still has the cozy and professional look and feel that we are known for as an office. And of course, even at our new location, the coffee is always ready and you are welcome to drop by.

Our Mission
Less Grey has formally existed since 2015. Before that, however, the partners in Less Grey had already accumulated many years of VAT experience. Either as founder or partner of a Less Grey predecessor, or as an independent VAT specialist. The background, however, is always the same: high quality VAT advice with a clear and no-nonsense approach.
It is our mission to protect and optimise your VAT rights. We act as a sparring partner and are able to ask critical questions that are not always obvious. This way, we ensure that you meet your obligations, but certainly do not pay more than necessary. We are also 100% transparent about our costs.
VAT is not just our job, it is our passion. We see the world through a VAT lens: transactions and daily agreements and processes all have a VAT aspect.
